UNIT MAINTENANCE GUIDE

To keep your hair unit looking fresh and well-maintained, follow these essential care tips:

✅ Professional Installation: For the best results, have your unit installed by a professional.

✅ Protect Your Unit: Always wrap your head with a Du-rag or scarf. When removing, be gentle and follow the direction of your waves.

✅ Barber Touch-Ups: You can get a shape-up between maintenance visits to keep your look sharp.

✅ Brushing: Yes, you can brush your unit! However, avoid excessive brushing to minimize shedding. Only brush when necessary.

✅ Reactivating Waves: Lightly spray your unit with water and brush. If needed, apply styling foam, brush again, and tie down with a Du-rag.

✅ Units with More Hair: Avoid pulling on your unit to prevent lifting. Do not sleep with wet hair, as it may cause tangling. Be mindful of excess product buildup to reduce tangling.

✅ Getting Your Unit Wet: Your unit is water-resistant, but avoid excessive soaking. If swimming at the beach or pool, rinse thoroughly afterward to prevent dryness.

✅ Washing Your Unit: Shampoo gently with a mild, sulfate-free shampoo and follow up with a leave-in conditioner.

✅ Showering: Wear a Du-rag or shower cap while showering to protect your unit.

✅ If Your Unit Lifts:

  1. Don't panic!
  2. Use a Q-tip with a small amount of alcohol to clean the lifted area.
  3. Apply a light layer of adhesive/glue using a small brush (avoid excess to prevent seepage).
  4. Wait about 3 minutes or until the adhesive turns clear, then gently reattach the unit.
  5. Secure it by tying it down with a Du-rag.

✅ Enhancing Your Look: You can apply hair fibers to the front hairline or any desired areas for extra definition, then set it with a holding spray.
